Martin Garrix and New York Knicks won the NBA Finals

It was nice Saturday Night and I looking forward to the event. However my train to Jamaica was cancelled last minute so I have to wait for 25 minutes

After that I was able to get on the train to Jamaica and everyone was running to the train to Atlantic Terminal and I joined the herd of people running.

When I got to the concert, I was happy to see Martin Garrix and I was hoping to hear if the New York Knicks would win the NBA Finals. The first hour didn’t have a strong start even with the songs that I haven’t heard or never played. However, he made the show entertaining by having lights, fire and confetti blown at Barclays Center. I also kept checking out my phone for the results by far until the end and I was thinking that they could come back from behind.

I heard fans cheering in the background and then I checked someone’s phone and it was the Knicks final free throw and it was just enough to lead by 4 points with 7 seconds remaining. When the buzzer sounded for the end. The New York Knicks had finally won the NBA Finals for the first time in 53 years. Then Martin Garrix played New York New York by Frank Sanatra. After that, the final 45 minutes of the show made a huge comeback of the great ending. He played one of his greatest songs Animals from late 2013 and I was screaming for energy.

When the show ended, I went out and celebrated the streets of New York City for 20 minutes just to live in the moment. Everyone was honking their horns, causing traffic into a gridlock and others blasted music to celebrate New York. I defied to joined the crowd after the show because I just wanna be part of the whole community and brining people together. I was able to catch the train in time and it was packed at Jamaica and I talked to the nice two couples. As many LIRR commuters were tired and ready to head home after the celebration. I ended the night with Wendy’s and got a cyclops bag which I wanted to imagine that it was Leela from Futurama.
